A guy named Tim wrote on his site, 8Asians, about something that I posted (go here to view it)! This is very exciting for me, to have someone notice me on the web. 8Asians is a group that started out as 8 Asians who write about their experiences and thoughts regarding Asians in the world. It’s a really cool site, and I recommend that you guys go check it out.
I checked Google, and I am listed #7 for “being asian in america”. It’s my hope to keep growing this blog, and one day, have my own domain and hosting. I’m actually trying to get into this Chinese learning program because I’m interested in Chinese, and there’s a $1000 stipend if you complete the one month program. I doubt I’ll get in, because there are tons of people with better grades, but if I do, I’m definitely buying a domain and then getting my own hosting.
And another thing I want to do with the site… Add a section on news and politics regarding Asians. It’s something I’m very interested in, but I don’t know when I’ll have time to start. Still grounded. =/
